In that tweet was a message declaring that the person had seen an advanced screening of the film and it was accompanied with the image from below. Well this just raised my interest in this remake a few notches. According to THR Commissioner Gordon himself Gary Oldman has joined the cast of Jose Padilha's remake of the classic sci-fi, Robocop. The site report that the veteran actor will play a character called "Norton"..
Oldman will play Norton, the scientist who creates Robocop and finds himself torn between the ideals of the machine trying to rediscover its humanity and the callous needs of a corporation.
Sounds like a completely new sympathetic character, as if memory serves all of those involved with actually creating Robocop in the original were miserable pack of bastards. Anyway, Oldman joins The Killing actor Joel Kinnaman as Alex Murphy. No other cast members have been revealed as of yet but plenty of big names - including Sean Penn and Ed Norton - have been rumored. The movie doesn't yet have a shoot date but has a tentative
A bit of a strange pic of Spidey there! Expect some new stills from the movie, as well as interviews with Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans and director Marc Webb inside the issue when it goes on sale this Friday.

The following images of Dark Knight Rises toys from the Quick Tek line could potentially reveal a brand new movie character. .
We know actor Josh Pence will be playing a younger version of Ras Al Ghul in the movie so that's a good bet. Then again it does look very like Christian Bale, and that would mean we would either be getting a Bruce Wayne flashback to when he was a member of the League OF Shadows, or he will don their garb again for some reason. The more outlandish theory is that it could be Joseph Gordon Levitt's character John Blake, when he eventually (still just a rumor of course) gets a costume of his own on and backs up/steps in for Batman. Or, it could just be something like "League Of Shadows member #3". What do you guys think?
As an extra, here is a new (low-res) promo image of
Deadline are reporting that Paramount have pushed Gi Joe: Retaliation back all the way from it's original June 29th release date to March 29th of next year. That's another 9 months for fans to wait to see The Rock and co do their thing. The reason for the drastic pushback? Money of course! Paramount plan to convert the movie to 3D after seeing how much better Box Office other post-converted movies have done.
A studio exec tells Deadline..
"We’re going to do a conscientious 3D job because we’ve seen how it can better box office internationally. Jim Cameron did all of Titanic‘s 3D in post – and look how well that movie turned out."
The March release date was also chosen because of how well The Hunger Games did when it was released a couple of months ago. I'm not a big Joe fan but this must really grind your gears if you
This Friday sees the return of Agent's J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) to the big screen after a ten year absence from theatres. Barry Sonnenfeld returns to helm Men in Black 3 and if you read our 4* review of the movie (find it HERE) you will already know that he does a fantastic job. Last week, I was able to put my questions to the director and he comments on everything from a fourth instalment in the franchise to deleted scenes, the special effects, casting Josh Brolin as a young Agent K, converting the movie to 3D and much, much more. Many thanks to Adelya Khasyanova for her help in setting up and conducting the following interview.
Is Men in Black 3 the end of the franchise or have there been talks of a fourth instalment?
Men in Black 3 is the end of the trilogy and finishes

According to MarketSaw and Fanboy Confidential, this is the official synopsis for the upcoming science fiction spectacle Pacific Rim, directed by Guillermo del Toro. They also mention that the first look at the film will be revealed at this year's San Diego Comic Con. Here is the synopsis:
From acclaimed filmmaker Guillermo del Toro comes Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ epic sci-fi action adventure "Pacific Rim."
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces

A Look Behind THE AVENGERS User Interface Designs; Helicarrier Screens And Iron Man HUDWed, 23 May 2012 10:48 MST
Cantina Creative's contribution to the visual effects of Marvel's The Avengers involved on-screen graphics aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, lab sequences, Iron Man’s HUD and other devices used by Tony Stark. And speaking with fxguide, screen designer Jayse Hansen also provided still photos showcasing his work with Cantina Creative.
"For the Helicarrier, it was almost an empty slate at the beginning," explains Hansen. "I started by researching real aircraft carrier screens and then designing based on what purpose each had. We came to the conclusion that Fury’s screens would be the overall screens and he would have a high level view of basically everything in the Helicarrier and the world. There would be map screens with globes. We did a lot of maps on this! It also had security cam footage, and video feeds from news footage. Hill’s screens were more hands-on with detailed views. She wasn’t flying the ship –
While promoting the DVD/Blu-Ray release of The Woman In Black in an interview with Collider, former Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is asked about his thoughts on the growing popularity of comic book movies, as well as if there was a character he would like to play. His answer may surprise you.
"Yeah, absolutely. I dunno who’s left, I mean a lot of comic books have...they’ve all been done. I don’t think anyone’s done The Flash yet, and that’s one I’d probably have a go at. Other then that, I’m not sure which comic book heroes are left.
Warner Bros. has been developing a Flash movie off and on over the years. Last we heard, the studio had a "solid script". However, after the non-success of Green Lantern last year, many are not expecting WB to actively pursue many other DC characters beyond Batman or Superman.
As for whether or not Radcliffe should

An interesting idea, eh? I'm not sure about you guys, but it took me a few seconds to remember why on Earth Peter Parker and Mary Jane weren't included on this special cover. As you may already know, the two got married in 1987, but this was wiped from Marvel Comics continuity in the 2007/2008 storyline One More Day which saw Spider-Man sacrifice his marriage in a deal with Mephisto to save the life of his Aunt May.
